Stanley Park Ecology Society is hosting great two-hour wild edibles walk is coming up at Stanley Park, Sunday September 7 from 1:30 to 3:30pm. Walk participants will learn how to identify various berries and edible plants growing in the forest, and will also gain awareness of plants and berries that are unsafe to eat. The cost of the walk is $10 per person or $5 for Society members, seniors, and children.
Many plants and berries look tasty, but what can you pick without getting sick? Explore the range of edible foods growing in our local forests during this “urban foraging” tour.
